2 more.

During a fun weekend full of the beach, Mr. Popper's Penguins at the movie theater, church, plus time with family and  friends, I somehow managed to squeeze in a bit of sewing time.  Two more Swoon blocks done, only two more to go (I think).  I snapped a couple shots when I got home from the gym this morning.


These are my favorite so far, though I'm pretty sure I say that after I finish every block.  I am both excited and sad to finish these up, I have enjoyed making them so much.  I love Camille's pattern, and I love sewing with Anna Maria Horner's Good Folks.

  9. So. Much. Fun! I love seeing these and I'm also going to be sad when your project is over.

    Hey, how was Mr. Popper's Penguins? We're reading the book and it occurred to me to consider taking my kids (6 and 4.5) to see it. They've never been the movies, because we don't do TV for them, so this would be really special. I wonder if it's pretty tame? Like ridiculously tame? I'm a shelterer....

  19. I always have an inner struggle on whether or not I should comment on something made from one of my patterns. It's just awkward, you know??

    But seriously, I LOOOVE these. Like I could eat them, they are so delicious. LOVE the fabric, and the piecing? It is perfect. You are the piecing master.

  23. Nice blocks per usual. I just wanted to say that I am enjoying the "Farmer's Wife" flickr group pictures. There are a lot of talented quilters out there. There is such a diversity of fabric. Thank you so much for being the co-host for this project.
