As some of you guessed from my last post, I knit the Holden shawlette. This was my first shawl, and my first true lacework. It was so so fun! It was an intriguing knit for me, I couldn't put it down.
I decided to buy blocking mats and lace wires after knitting this. It made such a difference in the shawl. All of the lacework opened up so nicely, and it lays nice and flat now. I think it was a good investment.
This will be a Christmas gift for my mom. Her favorite color is aqua blue (just like me!) and I think she will love it. All of the details are over here on my Ravelry page.
