Swatching. Untitled
 Untitled Untitled
No sewing as of late, but I have been working on a new sweater for the past few weeks!  This is Bloomsbury, and I am used Madeline Tosh vintage in Celadon.
Checking the fit. Almost time for sleeeeves!!
I am just finishing up the body.... Can't wait to get started on the sleeves!

PS - have you seen this gorgeous polka dot cowl yet?  Dots are my favorite, I can't wait to make this. I'm hoping it will be a good project to learn color work on!

  1. Looms great without sleeves! Maybe not ideal for your part of the country?

  3. I second the comment about no sleeves...I would kinda love this as is! Long sleeved t underneath in the winter, great transition in spring....now you're making me wish I actually knew how to knit!

  6. Gorgeous! And I love the color. You you are doing a great job. I bought the "Toe Up 2 At-a-Time" book but it is way over my head at this point. I need more experience.

  11. Hi Angela! That sweater is going to be awesome. Wish I would finally get myself a pattern and some yarn and start knitting something else than socks and scarfs. Greetings from Austria!

  14. Angela - You are so talented! I love your work. You have inspired me to keep sewing, knitting and creating beautiful things. Sometimes I get so discouraged I just want to pack it all away in the closet and call it quits. Mostly because I feel like there is never enough time to get it all done. Ugh. My three beautiful children keep me busy enough. <3 Which I totally love!!! But creating takes time and patience and comes in waves. Thanks for all the inspiration. I love your blog...also and inspiration for me to get back to posting on mine! :) Can't wait to see your sweater when you finish!!

    Blessings - Sara
