No sewing as of late, but I have been working on a new sweater for the past few weeks! This is Bloomsbury, and I am used Madeline Tosh vintage in Celadon.
I am just finishing up the body.... Can't wait to get started on the sleeves!
xo, Ang
PS - have you seen this gorgeous polka dot cowl yet? Dots are my favorite, I can't wait to make this. I'm hoping it will be a good project to learn color work on!

Looms great without sleeves! Maybe not ideal for your part of the country?
ReplyDeleteYou have become quite the cable queen. Can't wait to see the finish.
ReplyDeleteI second the comment about no sleeves...I would kinda love this as is! Long sleeved t underneath in the winter, great transition in spring....now you're making me wish I actually knew how to knit!
ReplyDeleteOh Angela, this is beautiful!! That polka dotted cowl is fabulous--and I'm sure way above my skill level.
ReplyDeleteyou are an amazing knitter. I love the sweater without the sleeves!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! And I love the color. You you are doing a great job. I bought the "Toe Up 2 At-a-Time" book but it is way over my head at this point. I need more experience.

ReplyDeleteHi Angela! That sweater is going to be awesome. Wish I would finally get myself a pattern and some yarn and start knitting something else than socks and scarfs. Greetings from Austria!
ReplyDeletegorgeous! You are doing a beautiful job on it, as usual. Love the color - XO S

ReplyDeleteTo return the favour, have you seem Cora (Andrea Black). I'm loving it. Making one it madtosh dk
Angela - You are so talented! I love your work. You have inspired me to keep sewing, knitting and creating beautiful things. Sometimes I get so discouraged I just want to pack it all away in the closet and call it quits. Mostly because I feel like there is never enough time to get it all done. Ugh. My three beautiful children keep me busy enough. <3 Which I totally love!!! But creating takes time and patience and comes in waves. Thanks for all the inspiration. I love your blog...also and inspiration for me to get back to posting on mine! :) Can't wait to see your sweater when you finish!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings - Sara

ReplyDeleteHow's the progress on your lovely sweater?
ReplyDeleteooooh! this is gorgeous!
