I finished up a couple more blocks for my Good Folks quilt. I don't think you could make me choose a favorite block so far, I really like them all.
I spent some time on my Farmer's Wife blocks for this week.
I'm pretty entralled with all of the bits and pieces that make these blocks. I have never worked with anything this tiny.
And a couple quick shots of the kiddos from this morning. Steve took the boys to get haircut this past Friday, and they came home with the buzz cuts. This is the shortest my oldest son's hair has ever been, it was longer even at birth. I literally cried (out of shock mostly), but I like it a lot now.
Finley cracks me up here. She is always trying to steal Eli's sippy cup, and she finally got ahold of it. Sneaky baby!
Hope you are week is starting out well!
xo, Angela
Beautiful blocks!!
ReplyDeleteMy son got a mohawk for summer...I'm feeling your pain. I LOVE your Good Folks blocks. Oh my goodness, they are so pretty and so big! My husband might not agree, but I would love that laying across my bed each day.
ReplyDeleteLove your blocks! Check out my one-block Swoon on my blog today. What a fun block to make!
ReplyDeleteLove those blocks, I may have to cave and get that pattern.
ReplyDeleteI'm dying to see the swoon blocks all together. My "pin this" is at ready!
ReplyDeleteLove your Swoon blocks!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to start cutting
my fabrics for them!!
Have a great week.
Sincerely, Trish
I can't get over how quick you are whipping out the swoon blocks!!! I bet you cranked out another two whilst I typed this comment ;)
ReplyDeleteGlad the boy's haircuts are growing on you, I think they look super sweet :)
Sweet kids, yeah my son got his cut too short too last time and I was sad, but now my hubby has been trimming it up a little here and there and it has gown out some.
ReplyDeleteThe swoon blocks look great! Looks like I may be having to look for the FWQ book again since I never got mine in the mail. Know of anyone that has an extra book?
Your blocks are gorgeous - and so are your kids! Looks like you're having a great summer!!
ReplyDeleteYour good folks quilt is going to be beautiful! I'm so excited to see more sneak peeks as you finish blocks.
ReplyDeleteI love your blocks and thought it was clever to take the picture with your toes so we had a better picture of how big they are. Then there is the Farmer's Wife blocks - they are small and really a challenge.
ReplyDeleteI am impressed you get this done with such cute little ones running around.
Those blocks are breathtaking! Love the pattern ans your color choices.
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are really beautiful (plus you always have such a great pedicure!) And your kids are adorable!
ReplyDeletegosh, those Swoon blocks make me swoon-y!
ReplyDeleteHi Angela
ReplyDeleteI love your Swoon blocks, my favourite so far is the second one. I really love this pattern and I think I'm going to have to make one eventually for our bed.
Your kids remind me of mine, our little one is always eyeing off her brothers' sippy cups too.

Looking forward to seeing that quilt all together. You're making good progress.
ReplyDeleteSweet kids. Gorgeous blocks.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and bright as always!
ReplyDeleteI remember when we first shaved my son's hair off. He was about one and a half and I was like NOOOOO, he's not a baby anymore with this haircut! But he really needed it, his hair is as thick as his daddy's and grows sooo fast. Now I'm used to is and I love his little buzz cuts.
Very cool. Looking great!
ReplyDeleteIt's quite the contrast in size of finished blocks you presented here. I really like the color and fabric combos you used in your blocks.
ReplyDeleteLove your blocks, can't wait to see it all put together.
ReplyDeleteI like your Swoon blocks. Aren't the Farmers Wife blocks fun. I have eleven done. Taking a break with the grandkids but I will be back to it in a couple of weeks.
ReplyDeleteNo wonder you can't choose a favorite block, they are all so gorgeous! And so are your kids!
ReplyDeleteThe blocks are so beautiful! It'll be so fun to see all the blocks together.
ReplyDeleteOh, I know how you feel about the haircut. J came home with a buzz cut a couple of months ago, too. He really loves it but I think it makes him look too old! ;)
wow and wow, so pretty! and your kids are getting so big! :)
ReplyDeleteI like your blocks very much. It's wonderfull.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!
You have a nice day.
